Our Year 2 class had a fantastic trip to C&J’s Animal Farm, where excitement started the moment we climbed aboard the bus - an adventure in itself, as some of the children had never travelled by bus before! When we arrived, we were greeted by a wide variety of animals, including colourful parrots, gentle owls, curious goats, friendly rabbits, nosy meerkats, and even some cheeky pigs. The children loved learning about the animals and getting up close to see how they live. A highlight of the day was the Reptile hut, where some of our very brave Year 2 children had the chance to hold and interact with snakes, turtles, gecko's and stick insects - they showed great confidence and did an amazing job! It was a memorable experience for everyone, full of smiles, laughter, and new discoveries.
